　　An industrial peninsular on the River Main is being converted into a new sustainable city district. The “harbour” forms the new urban focus with varied access to the water and multifunctional urban space. A promenade network connects the water to the more densely build-up area on one hand and to the new local park and regional river path beyond. In the challenging environment of contaminated soil, a holistic stormwater management concept has been developed to create soft city spaces and streetscapes while retaining and cleansing stormwater before releasing it to the river and harbour. Innovative natural water treatment systems such as cleansing biotopes are integrated into the park spaces, and new natural habitats are created for riparian flora and fauna whilst proving refreshing green oasis for the city. This project is a pragmatic vision for how climate adaptation can be achieved in urban context creating attractive neighbourhoods through integrated engineering. The project has prequalified for the prestigious DGNB Gold for a sustainable city district, comparable to a LEEDS Platinum rating, a European first.

　　美茵河上的一個(gè)工業(yè)半島被轉(zhuǎn)換成為一個(gè)新型可持續(xù)城市區(qū)?！昂８邸毙纬尚碌某鞘薪裹c(diǎn)，通過(guò)多樣的途徑通往水邊和多功能的城市空間。散步道網(wǎng)絡(luò)系統(tǒng)一方面連接水體與密集的建成區(qū)域，同時(shí)連接新建地區(qū)公園和公園范圍之外的地區(qū)河流道路。在土壤污染嚴(yán)重、充滿挑戰(zhàn)的環(huán)境中，一個(gè)全面的雨水管理概念被付諸實(shí)踐，以創(chuàng)建柔質(zhì)城市空間和街景，同時(shí)在雨水匯入河流和港灣之前，對(duì)它們進(jìn)行存續(xù)和凈化。凈化群落等創(chuàng)新型天然水處理系統(tǒng)被整合入公園空間之中，新的自然棲息地被創(chuàng)造，為河岸邊動(dòng)、植物提供棲息地，同時(shí)也為城市創(chuàng)造了一處清新的綠洲。該項(xiàng)目為在城市背景之下通過(guò)綜合的工程手法、創(chuàng)建富有吸引力的街區(qū)、以適應(yīng)氣候變化提供了一個(gè)務(wù)實(shí)的解決方式。該項(xiàng)目被授予相當(dāng)于LEED鉑金獎(jiǎng)的歐洲第一的DGNB可持續(xù)城市區(qū)域金獎(jiǎng)。
