MAT Office（超級建筑）是創(chuàng)立于荷蘭鹿特丹的一個設(shè)計和研究事務(wù)所，2014年回到北京進行建筑實踐。MAT Office主要致力于觀察和思考當(dāng)下城市化進程中不斷涌現(xiàn)的問題, 并以此為基礎(chǔ)引發(fā)對建筑設(shè)計領(lǐng)域可能性的探討。MAT Office關(guān)注當(dāng)下城市中年輕群體的工作、居住和交往空間。從2014年開始，MAT Office 開展了對未來辦公空間的研究課題 Office 3.0，該課題伴隨著研究報告和設(shè)計項目取得了豐富的成果并于2016年結(jié)集出版。2014-2018年，唐康碩和張淼參與到北京老舊小區(qū)的社區(qū)更新和社區(qū)設(shè)計的課題研究，并正在通過教學(xué)工作坊、研究型設(shè)計的形式推進，同時也展開了一系列相關(guān)設(shè)計實踐。自2016年開始，MAT Office通過項目實踐的機會也開始了對于長租公寓和共享居住產(chǎn)品模式的研究。

MAT Office 近年來的建筑實踐主要集中在由新一輪城市更新所帶來的共享辦公、共享居住、共享社區(qū)、文化教育等相關(guān)領(lǐng)域，以及城市公共建筑和公共空間的創(chuàng)新設(shè)計。事務(wù)所通過一系列項目和研究作品，在城市設(shè)計、城市與社會和空間轉(zhuǎn)型策略以及建筑設(shè)計等多種角度給出提議。MAT Office 也積極參與展覽、教學(xué)和文化活動的組織與設(shè)計。事務(wù)所近年來的作品受到 世界建筑、城市建筑、Domus、Designboom、Gooood、Archdaily、FRAME 、bob、Interini、IDEAT理想家等海內(nèi)外眾多知名媒體的廣泛報道，事務(wù)所作品曾入選第十六屆威尼斯建筑雙年展平行展。

Founded by TANG Kangshuo and ZHANG Miao in 2013, MAT Office is a research and design studio started in Rotterdam and now practicing in Beijing. It is an office dedicating to the observation and speculation of emerging issues within the contemporary urbanization process while strategically seeking architectural possibilities based upon these principles.

MAT Office focuses on working, living and leisure space of young people community. Since 2014, MAT Office initiated the research project on future working space, Office 3.0, which has been accompanied by extensive results from research and design projects and was published in 2016. MAT office has also started research and design projects on community renewal and shared living space products. The recent architectural practice of MAT Office is mainly on co-working space, shared living space, community design, cultural education design, and public space design, brought by the new round of urban regeneration. MAT Office develops a series of proposals on the perspective of urban design, strategy of social and spatial transformations as well as architectural design.

MAT Office is also actively involved in exhibitions, teaching and cultural events. Their design works are widely reported by well-known media in and out of China, such as World Architecture, Urban Architecture, Domus, Designboom, Gooood, Archdaily, FRAME, bob, INTERINI and IDEAT, MAT Office participated in the 15th and 16thVenice Architecture Biennale. TANG Kangshuo and ZHANG Miao also participated in the open studio teaching in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Harbin Institute of Technology, Chinese Academy of Fine Art and Tsinghua University.
